The New Face of the LPGA Tour?

Jean Van-De-Velde, the Frenchman who staged one of the most embarrasing collapses in modern golf (needing only a Double Bogey on 18 to win the British Open), now wants to play in the next year’s Women’s British Open. Click for the story.

“I’ll even wear a kilt and shave my legs,” he said Thursday after shooting a 7-over-par 78 in the first round of the Volvo Masters.

He’s upset by the growing number of females trying to play on the Men’s tour. Reminds me of the stories of Men applying for waiter jobs at Hooters, and then trying to sue for discrimination.

Personally, I just think he’s upset the he can’t beat the the women who are playing on the Men’s tour.
