Piano Lessons For My Young Girls

Two of my girls, ages 6 and 8, without prompting, want to take piano lessons. I could pick out a random music shop in town from the phone book, but I would really appreciate any suggestions as to where I should go with this.

Thank you in advance.

On a totally unrelated note, thanks for the link to the Chef Kevin blog. Great stuff.

    Well, thank you Mazr.

A few comments, if I may: Greetings to the host of this site, the PeoriaIllinoisan. I don’t know who you are, but I’ve enjoyed reading some of your blog. As to your daughters wanting to take piano lessons, I do know of several instructors, but their normal clientle is of the college age, etc. Next time I run into any of them, I’ll ask and report back. Next, I do not know how you stumbled across my little blog, but that’s why it is there. I did not know I was linked here and I do not mind. I guess you agree with my thought process or just find me trivially amusing.

Anyway, just dropping a note to say Hello!

To be honest, I’m not sure how I found your blog either. Loved the comment in your last post about warming up the sauce out of a bag. Brilliant!

My grandson rents a violin from Strode Music on Sheridan for his orchestra classes in school.
I would imagine they have the names of instructors. They are extremely nice people to work with.
