…and the winner is…
I always keep my word, so I will award this $10,000 bill to C.J. Summers for having a keen eye on a tough ‘Peoria Landmark.’ The $10,000 bill features the portrait of Salmon B. Chase who was Secretary of Treasury during the Civil War. These bills were printed between the years of 1928 and 1945 until the federal government reversed course and began destroying them in 1969 in an effort to combat organized crime. There are approximately 350 still known to be in existance.
