Boston's a great town. Lot's of stuff to do that you will find just walking around. There is a red painted line through town that is called The Freedom Trail http://www.thefreedomtrail.org/home.htm. You should see The State House, the Granary Burying Ground where Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, and John Hancock are buried, and it's close to the state house. You should also go the The North End and see the Old North Church and eat at Reginas. The church is were the lights were hung to tell how the British were coming and Reginas is a great old neighborhood pizza joint. The pizza is good but you can't beat the atmosphere. Also, while you in the North End, stop and see the USS Constitution. Whatever you do, you'll have a great time.

If you are into spicy food at all, The East Coast Grill in Cambridge does a lot of Caribbean, Latin and other "heat" cuisines of the world.

It's been 12 years since I've been there and just hit most of the usual tourist stuff, so I'm no help.
