A blast from Peoria’s local access past

Dartman’s World of Wonder is a blog specializing in video and audio clips of America’s uniquely strange pop culture.

Does anyone remember the piano playing and singing Ms. Reva Cooper Undersicker on Peoria’s local access tv from the 80’s?  I didn’t either, until I found this video clip on his blog.  Those were the days…

My favorite post so far is of the Monkee’s acting like the fools that they were on the Johnny Cash Show.  Classic!

I’ll be keeping an eye on this blog.

I hate to keep up with the bad news but here is the best analysis I’ve read on the Cub train wreck.

What?? Kerry Wood couldn’t save the team today?

It didn’t help having Neifi Perez bunting with two on and two out in the bottom of the 9th!! WTF Was That!?

    Sometimes I wish I was a Cardinal fan…

Out of all the big league clubs, only the Cubs would employ a player who would find it appropriate to bunt in that situation. Thank god my daughter wasn’t in the car when that took place.

Hell, I wish I was a Tiger fan.

I’m hoping for some big outings for Wood, so they can dump him on some sucker at the All-Star break.
