WMBD 1470 Pet Peeve #3
Does anyone listen to 1470am online?
It’s not great. Somebody got the wires crossed. What you’ll hear is talk radio with ‘classic country’ music in the background. It did take me a little while to figure this out, but during some much dreaded and short lived dead-air I heard the jingle for WIRL 1290.
If you like country music and talk radio (or if you’re stuck in a metal building that has no A.M. reception) listen to 1470 online, otherwise I suggest you stick with the traditional methods.
It is fun to hear Ken Zirsky joking on 1470 with his 1290 broadcast in the background though!
