We forgot our list at home, but in the interest of speed, decided to split up. Boys with boys, girls with girls- I'll go this way, you go that way and we'll meet at the checkout. I'll be damned if we didn't end up with two carts spilling over the top, only to find out that half the stuff we picked out was exactly the same. "I thought I was going to get the milk." "I didn't know you were going down <i>that</i> aisle." You get the picture... Needless to say, we got 4lbs of hamburger meat instead of two. 4 gallons of milk instead of two. More frozen junk than you could imagine, lots of cheese, about 6 bags of chips, and enough Salsa and Spaghetti sauce and Mac'n'Cheese to last through a cold war. It was a nightmare. I had to turn away when they rung up the total and just kept focusing on bagging. My son was kind enough to inform me how much money we just blew, though.
