Tastes Like Chicken
Dinner was a grilled ham and cheese with soup. Because I am the family’s designated “canned soup buyer,” I was asked to pick one out. I had no idea that I was such a chicken fan.
My soup options are (many in multiples):
Chicken Noodle
Chicken Broth
Chicken Gumbo
Chicken Corn Chowder
Chicken Noodle O’s
Chicken with Egg Noodles
Chicken and Stars
Grilled Chicken and Sausage Gumbo
Chunky Chicken Noodle
Chunky Fajita Chicken
Chunky Chicken and Dumplings
Zesty Chicken Gumbo
Dora the Explorer Chicken Noodle
Non-Chicken choices:
Double Noodle
Mega Noodle
Cream of Mushroom

PeoriaIllinoisan,
It’s funny how that happens without much thought. I was grocery shopping the other day and once I started pulling stuff out of the cart I realized I must have been thirsty while shopping. The cart held orange juice, yogurt smoothies, tea bags, cranberry juice, bottled water, apple juice, v-8 (2 kinds) and even a bottle of liquor.

A few weeks back we all went grocery shopping together- you know, one big grumpy family. We forgot our list at home, but in the interest of speed, decided to split up. Boys with boys, girls with girls- I’ll go this way, you go that way and we’ll meet at the checkout.
I’ll be damned if we didn’t end up with two carts spilling over the top, only to find out that half the stuff we picked out was exactly the same. “I thought I was going to get the milk.” “I didn’t know you were going down that aisle.” You get the picture…
Needless to say, we got 4lbs of hamburger meat instead of two. 4 gallons of milk instead of two. More frozen junk than you could imagine, lots of cheese, about 6 bags of chips, and enough Salsa and Spaghetti sauce and Mac’n'Cheese to last through a cold war. It was a nightmare. I had to turn away when they rung up the total and just kept focusing on bagging. My son was kind enough to inform me how much money we just blew, though.

I’m addicted, yes addicted, to Campbell’s Noodle Soup with Real Chicken Broth, which comes in a box of two envelopes, both of which I consume at the same time. It only has 810mg of sodium!
If you over cook it, you can use it to paste photos in your picture album. (People still have those, yes?)

I can’t see my Flickr page through the soup on my monitor.

You forgot Curly Noodle. It’s the best in my opinion. Funny noodles, no celery. What more could you want?
