I doubt that, but if he does, then he probably liked my testicle festival post. That's right up his alley.

From the PJ Star: "When police arrived about 4 a.m. at the home of Daryl L. Miller, 25, they found numerous bullet holes in the front door....
Witnesses reported they heard five to six shots, and believed Miller and a large group of people were gathered at the residence for a barbecue."

AT 4AM??? Grilling eggs and bacon on the Weber? Chargrilled French Toast? Somebody is blowing a lot of smoke not produced by Kingsford.

The stats do not take into account the 2 previous failures by the possibly the same person, given that I would suspect the next attempt may be from about a foot away and to the head.

From a strictly statistical standpoint, you are correct, but how many bullet holes can one man take? I still contend his chances of survival diminish with each shot.

No, no, no.

That's not the way statistics work.

If there's a one in three chance that someone will die when shot it, that applies to every single time he is shot at. The odds don't get better each time.

Basically, that means if you know that someone is going to be shot at three times and the odds of each single attempt succeeding is one in three, yeah, the odds are the guy is going to die. But after two unsuccessful attempt, the odds of the third attempt succeeding are still one in three.

That's why the odds of winning with lotter are the same for the guy buying a ticket for the first time are the same as for the guy who has bought one every single week.

Casinos like the Par-A-Dice make billions because people don't realize this.

Ok, what I meant was that the odds of his survival are reduced by every weekend round of gunfire he takes. Surely this guy isn't going to live much longer, whether he talks or not.

I think you may be overestimating the shooters' gun skills when you say "they ain't gonna miss next time." It's not like these guys go to the Gun Club every weekend and practice.

Also, if he talks, they may hurt him far worse than a gunshot or two. And then go after his family.

Yes, it seems to me he would be wise to talk, or if not, to flee. Can you imagine living your life thinking that someone is trying to shoot you? It seems so scary.
