Thanks a lot for the blurb. I’m finding my obsession with this topic producing more posts than peoria.com can understandably keep up with, so I’ve started a blog at requiemforaneighborhood.blogspot.com. I will continue to post at both sites until I get all of reminiscing out of my system.
The pictures of our old home (839 N. Maplewood) due to be demolished (already has been) are sad! We lived so many wonderful years in that home - almost 20 to be exact. I, along with others, remember all of the Bradley promises to keep the neighborhood intact.
We do continue to enjoy the memories - good neighbors and a wonderful place to raise a family!
