Repeat After Me: The Cubs Are In First Place
OK, one more time:
The Cubs Are In First Place.
…and we’re in August…
Now you Cardinal fans, I don’t want to hear you blabbering on and on about being the defending World Champions, how many World Series Rings your team has won, yadayadayadayada. You can’t live in the past forever, you know ![]()

I know, my brain is still trying to adjust. Apparently if the catastrophic collapse happens BEFORE June, it works out much better.

Go Cubs Go, Go Cubs Go, (everyone sing along now) Cubs are gonna win today!!! I take credit for this winning streak, I was at the game when Ramerez hit the game winning home run against the Brewers. That makes me a good luck charm. So everyone who has Cubs tickets for the rest of the year, please send them to me so we can keep it going. LOL

Live in the past . . . ? Hey, where’s the love? I recall in the not-so-distant past, Cubs fans were cheering as the Cards took 3 of 4 from Milwaukee.
So, I say again: where’s the love?

If it were the cubs leading the playoffs and in the world series, I’d root for ‘em.

Boy, PI, maybe we should wait next time. I don’t know about you, but I’m kinda eating crow on this entry in my blog. Especially now that Soriano is out for 2-4 weeks.

Cory, my plan is to put up enough posts to get this one buried so no-one notices it anymore.
