Rod Blagojevich to visit Peoria
He’s here to promote his new program “Take Charge, Get Screened.” Inside sources say he really meant to visit Peotone, a small town just south of Chicago, but his handlers misunderstood. When asked, Mr. Blagojevich said he definitely meant Peoria, as he loves flying over the scenery in Southern Illinois.
In other news, former Pekin Mayor Lyn Howard is getting his day in court. Out of respect for Knight in Dragonland, I will refrain from taking any cheap shots at his city, but I do feel sorry that they must endure him and his continued denial of any wrongdoing. What an embarrassment.
