What a night for me.
The Cubs clinch and I see Don Rickles in concert.

Go Cubs. I feel fortunate that in my lifetime the Cubs have now been in the post season five times. (1984, 1989, 1998, 2003 and 2007). There are people a lot older than me that have only seen the Cubs in the postseason the same number of times.
Maybe I’m a typical Cubs optimist, but with no National League team dominating the competition, I see no reason why the Cubs can’t make it to the world series.
