Why is this news?

Hillary wins Florida.

No delegates are at stake and all of the Democrat Presidential hopefuls supposedly agreed not to campaign there. Technically, she didn’t, but she showed up at a few fund raisers the just before the election.

As I see it, this is a calculated move by the Clinton’s to garner some sorely needed momentum by using the press to pump up her campaign and give her a ‘win’ in an another uncontested and meaningless State.

If those delegates along with Michigan’s are enough to alter the vote count at the Democratic Convention and change the results, you can be sure the Clinton’s are going to come out crying for them to be seated.

It may come sooner. I could see the refusal of the DNC to allow delegates for Florida and Michigan to be touted as a disenfranchisement issue by the Clinton camp. Is the DNC really saying that the votes in Florida and Michigan are not to be counted? This could be used as a wedge against Obama. Does the Obama come out and support Clinton and say ‘let those votes be counted’ or does he allow himself to be branded by the Clinton’s as the candidate of disenfranchisement? What if the Florida and Michigan delegations show up at the convention anyways and make a big scene? There is a LOT of potential for high drama from this.

Ugh. Makes perfect sense. I’m sorry to say you might be on to something there. One way to head it off at the pass is to have Obama win by a landslide on Super Tuesday.

Hillary won Michigan because for all practical purposes, she ran un-opposed. Obama removed his name from the ballot. I can’t say if her last minute “Campaigning? Who’s campaigning? I’m not campaigning. I’m fundraising” had anything to do with her win in Florida, but it’s slimy and reeks of desperation.

Mahkno’s right though, it could make for a fun convention.

They should not be counted. They said they wouldn’t be counted, and Obama acted on that information. He would have campaigned differently if he had known. It would be patently unfair to count them.

Hillary Clinton is not a Democrat, She has always been for Hillary.
She left her name on the ballot in Florida and did not follow the rules of the DNC. Why, you ask? Because she makes her own rules as she goes along in Hillaryland.
When the people see that the SERVANTS they ELECT are only serving themselves, then we will have change.
I am an Obama supporter. And until America stops drinking the Hillary Kookaid, we will continue to have gridlock and a government that doesnot work.
Thats my story and I am sticking to it… Go Big O in08
