The Bootleg Series, Vol. 1

As a fan of music, I find out-takes and alternate versions of songs to be especially interesting. In that vein, and the fact that I haven’t had much to say lately, I give you some NTPL out-takes.

That’s the beauty of digital photography. You can take hundreds of pictures until you get just the right effect and don’t have to pay a dime to see the results. When you find the one you want, you can upload it to Snapfish and pick up a print at Walgreens, usually within an hour. I love technology.

I whole-heartedly agree. When I was at Summercamp last year, I probably took 600 pictures, but I only kept about 300. Doing that with a film camera would have cost a small fortune, and to do all the different lighting, motion, and color effects that I did would have required at least 3 different lenses and a couple of different cameras. Digital photography is fantastic. I put my pictures up on Flickr.

I’ll always love that sponge bob pic!

I love digital photography. It’s just so great to be able to take pictures without fear of “wasting” film and to be able to experiment without getting a million terrible prints.

That last one looks interesting! and the sponge bob is funny as well!

Digital is cool, but, the up/down side is how fast things are changing. In 3 years, your brand new does everything camera will be a dinosaur. Cool if you like to keep up and always get the latest and greatest…..sucks if you don’t like that kind of thing.

Not having the latest and greatest doesn’t bother me. My computer is 6 years old, and I’m just now starting to think about getting a new one.
