Just wondering…
Why is it that when a car speeds up and cuts into traffic at the last minute before a construction zone it invariably has a duct tape on it somewhere, be it holding down plastic sheeting which serves as a temporary window or holding its tail-light in place?

This morning, some shithead pulled out about 30 feet in front of me at War and Knoxville in the construction zone, just so she could turn right back into that building on the corner. This is not the first time this has happened. Cars coming off the sidestreets onto northbound Knoxville seem to think that because there’s a signal 100 feet up the road, they can just pull out whenever the hell they want.

PI,
Oh, sorry I didn’t wave. I tend to recognize people right after they’re out of site.
(Okay, just joking. My car isn’t quite to the duck tape stage, but I am predicting that will be it’s next accessory!)

I’ve experienced much more of than asshole behavior from people driving very nice cars or trucks/SUVs.
They’re obviously much more important than you and deserve to go to the front of the line.

I make a point of blocking them when possible. The expletives you see in your rear window are priceless.

I second what the vonster said. The biggest annoyance I get from the clunkers is their brain dead rap music blaring at nausiating volumes. 99% of the rude driving I see is from pickup trucks, and ESPECIALLY Ferraris. I hate Ferrari drivers. I guess it goes without saying that if someone takes enough cash to buy a second home and blows it on a car they will maybe drive a total of 10000 miles, something went wrong somewhere.

Ferraris? In Peoria? I am sure there are maybe one or two… I seriously doubt there is a rude Ferrari problem.

I don’t live in Peoria.

Maybe you should change your name to “Billy Bob Jolie doesn’t live in Peoria”.

Mahkno,
There’s an F430 (SICK!), a 360 Coupe, a couple of older 308’s (Magnum PI car), and I believe Alexis Khazzam owns a 599 or a 612. The Ferraris are definitely out there. There’s also a Lamborghini Gallardo, a couple Bentley Continental GT’s, 2 or 3 Mercedes CL-Class 4-door coupes, at least one Lotus Elise, several BMW M3’s and M5’s, and a Maserati Quattroporte, just to name a few. All of these have been spotted by me within Peoria city limits, and I don’t count them if I see them at a dealership.

Al from Big Al’s owns a couple Lambos. I knew a guy who worked there as a bouncer once, and Al actually let him drive one of them. Al’s a nice guy. Too bad he has that whole corruption thing goin on.

Yeah, they say John Gotti and Hoffa were really nice guys, too. Good fellas, you might say.
