The victim. Teddy Jackson. A 26 year old Manual track star working security.
The family shared rap lyrics Jackson had just written Thursday: “When God sends his angels, would you be uplifted. He told you to listen, so don’t ask why.” [pjstar]
The gunman. Still at large.
“There was a fight going on in the street…There were about 25 people yelling and screaming. This one young guy started backing up, pulled out two guns and just started firing randomly into the crowd” said Partick Lang, and eyewitness.
Lang estimates about 15 shots were fired.
The gunman, he says, was standing 20 feet in front of him backing down the middle of the street as he fired. [week25]
