Me, while at the Post Office to buy stamps: When do the rates go up?

Female Post Office Employee: The day after Mother’s Day.

Me (paraphrasing): Uh, yeah. You might as well have said the rates go up on the 115th anniversary of the Pullman strike.  Not helpful.

    I’m with IDNKM, the forever stamps are a good deal. We are stocking up on them at work, figuring every penny counts, especially when you mail quite a bit.
