Sweet, the top pic is of Ben Schwartz’s IGA (or what later became Ben Schwartz’s). That was my favorite grocery store in Peoria, because they had the oddest selection of things in there (e.g. pickled pigs feet & ears…). Not that I ate them, they were just cool to see. Plus it was just a nice hometown grocery store. I was so disappointed when it was torn down to build yet another Walgreens.

Red Barn was around back then! But it was a lot more RED in color!
