Aaron Schock’s in town.
So I’m at the N. University Post Office, just leaving, when a fairly handsome, well groomed looking guy comes walking through the door … wearing shorts. My first thought, after wondering who would be crazy enough to be wearing shorts when it’s 27 degrees out, is he looks a lot like Aaron Schock. In that instant I wondered how annoying it would be to be told “you look a lot like Aaron Schock” all the time or maybe that would be an ego boost.
As I’m pulling out of the parking lot I pass a big black SUV with the license plate bearing the number 18, along with the notation “United States Congressman.”
I considered taking a picture because it’s really not something you see everyday, especially at the post office, but that seemed too… oh… paparazzish. I sort-of wish I had said hello, or even “do you ever get annoyed when people say you look like Aaron Schock?”

You should’ve spoken up. Schock annoys the heck out of me, so there’s no reason why the general public shouldn’t enjoy every opportunity to annoy him.
If you haven’t seen it already, check out Sunday’s “Meet The Press” episode which Shock was one of the guests. He really got his rear handed to him in the roundtable forum.

He would have been very friendly to you and in answer to your question would have thrown back his head with a hearty laugh and made a self-deprecating remark. Then walking away you would realize why he is so danged successful!

I would bet the Congressman just came or was going to the gym – I do the same. I would bet you need the gym or you wouldn’t make such statements. I 2nd in sending Ms Maddow a photo
